Pearl Harbor Warriors was awarded the International Reading Association Nonfiction Award in 2004.
Named in honor of America’s most cherished publisher/printer, the Benjamin Franklin Award recognizes excellence in independent publishing. Publications are judged on editorial and design merit.
Each year, the American Library Association selects several outstanding DVD productions by naming them as “Notable”
productions. Woodson House Publishing is proud to announce that our Pearl Harbor Warriors DVD has been named a “Notable” production for 2007.
In 2004, Pearl Harbor Warriors was chosen as a finalist for the MarkTwain Award, an annual competition sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Libraries. The award’s sole purpose is to enrich the lives of students through reading. Each year, 20 diverse children’s books are selected from all
those published, and, after reading at least four of them, students vote for their favorite. Hundreds of Missouri students in grades 4-8 participate in this event.
