Aloha, and Welcome to my website. My name is Dorinda and my dog's name is Hula Girl.

Mahalo (thanks) for finding my little island on the internet. This is where you can learn all about my eyewitness experience, my speaking, my books, DVD’s, and teacher resource guides (please refer to photo below and my shopping page:).

After the Pearl Harbor attack, gas masks were issued to everyone, even children. I carried my gas mask (in the green bag) everywhere after the attack, which I watched from our front yard, only a few hundred yards from Ford Island and Battleship Row (see map).

Looking back, I still clearly remember the sights and sounds of that incredible day, and I continue telling that story, speaking in person to audiences in many parts of the world, and now also on the internet.
